Meet the Team

It’s pretty obvious I love everything to do with hair and beauty… And the colour pink. I have been in the industry for more than 14 years and have slowly added to my repertoire of skills over that time, now being able to offer a one stop hair and beauty sanctuary. I have qualifications in hairdressing, makeup, nails, lashes, hair extensions and have done many short courses in bridal, hair styling, brows, hair cutting and colouring- just to name a few. 

My journey of how I got here is far from perfect but that’s a story for another time 😉 my life experience thus far has given me the type of mindset that is constantly wanting to grow and achieve more… and that’s exactly what I intend to do. 

One of the biggest things I love about my business is that I have created a safe space where I can help people feel their best and boost their confidence in a welcoming and judgement-free environment. 

Studio Sterling would still be in a little garage if it wasn’t for the help and teamwork of all the amazing talented girls at Studio Sterling. I love teaching them and learning from them. We have such a fun family at work and love to share it with all our clients.

Hi, my name is Charlotte. I have recently completed my hairdressing apprenticeship with Studio Sterling and am now a fully qualified hairdresser and also hold my Cert 3 in beauty. 

I started my hairdressing journey in 2019 and I have found my favourite thing to do is create a beautiful blonde or a seamless balayage.

I have been loving working at Studio Sterling this last year and have enjoyed meeting all the amazing clients, can't wait to meet more of you whether its for hair, lashes, brows or a Thursday night tan 🥰🥰 

Hey I’m Courtney, and I’m a school-based apprentice hairdresser at Studio Sterling, but cannot wait to be full-time! 

I have a big passion for the hair and beauty industry and I can’t wait to learn more. I really enjoy styling and cutting. But I’m excited to venture into foiling and learning how to create the perfect blonde. 

Although I’m a girls girl in the salon, outside of work I love going to the beach, camping and the occasional riding motorbikes to Jess’s horror of me coming to work with another limb broken. 

I love the support and family network I have at my workplace and can’t wait to see what the following years hold for me. 

Hi, My name is Milla. I'm currently the tea and tidy at Studio Sterling on Saturdays. 

Although I started my journey here wanting to learn lash extensions, I have now fallen in love with being on the floor with the girls doing hair. 

I can be shy and avoid the phones at all costs, but I love learning to wash and style. 

I can't wait till the school holidays to get more hands-on and learn more.

Next year, I'm hoping to start my school-based apprenticeship; maybe then I'll start picking up the phones 😂

Hello, My name is Amy and I'm one of the nail technicians here at Studio Sterling. I have been a fully qualified nail technician for almost 2 years now. 

I have always loved painting nails as a kid, wasn't the best back when I was 6 years old 😂, but here I am now working in an amazing salon in Clayfield a couple of days a week and I love every minute of it

Since the start of my journey at Studio Sterling, I have learnt so much about nails that I continue to fall in love with doing them more and more each day. 

Hi, my name is Chloe and I am a nail technician.

Hi, my name is Sarah, I'm a first-year school-based apprentice, and I have just started year 11 at Mary McKillop College. I had no idea what I wanted to do after school until I started working at Studio Sterling, and now I've found a love for hairdressing and making people feel like the best version of themselves when they leave the salon. When I'm not at the salon, I'm either shopping or sleeping! My favorite thing to do is styling hair but I'm most excited to start coloring and foiling!

 Hi, I'm Darlene, the Receptionist/ Social media creator at Studio Sterling. From lashes to tooth gems, I have always loved all things beauty. When I'm not at the salon, I am either at the beach, dancing or having a self-care day. 

Coming from a zookeeping background this role is definitely a change but I'm looking forward to coming home from a full days work without Dingo fur and smelling like Koalas!

I am super excited to be a part of the team and get to know everyone at the Studio Sterling community.
