About Studio Sterling

It’s pretty obvious I love everything to do with hair and beauty… And the colour pink. I have been in the industry for more than 14 years and have slowly added to my repertoire of skills over that time, now being able to offer a one stop hair and beauty sanctuary. I have qualifications in hairdressing, makeup, nails, lashes, hair extensions and have done many short courses in bridal, hair styling, brows, hair cutting and colouring- just to name a few. 

My journey of how I got here is far from perfect but that’s a story for another time 😉 my life experience thus far has given me the type of mindset that is constantly wanting to grow and achieve more… and that’s exactly what I intend to do. 

One of the biggest things I love about my business is that I have created a safe space where I can help people feel their best and boost their confidence in a welcoming and judgement-free environment. 

Studio Sterling would still be in a little garage if it wasn’t for the help and teamwork of all the amazing talented girls at Studio Sterling. I love teaching them and learning from them. We have such a fun family at work and love to share it with all our clients.

Hi, I’m Charlotte, a qualified hairdresser at Studio Sterling, where I’ve been lucky to work for the past three years. I recently spent 9 months living in Japan, a personal adventure that gave me a fresh perspective and made me even more excited to return to my amazing salon family and get back to doing what I love.

I find real joy and calm in foiling, and I absolutely love creating soft, blended balayage looks. I also offer colour services, precision haircuts, and more. On top of that, I’ve completed my Certificate III in Beauty, which means I also provide lash and brow services, as well as spray tans here at the salon.

Whether you’re after a fresh cut, a new colour, or a little beauty boost, I can’t wait to meet you and help you feel your best. See you in the salon soon! x

Hello, I'm Amy 

I'm a qualified nail technician at Studio Sterling, where I've been lucky enough to be working here for 3 years now. I'm currently expanding my skills by completing a Beauty Diploma, which I'll finish later this year. 

My love for nails started when I was just 6 years old, although I wasn't exactly a pro back then! Now, I work full time here at an incredible salon and I genuinely love every minute of what I do. <3

Since joining Studio Sterling, I've learned so much and grown even more passionate to the beauty industry. 

Hi, My name is Milla. I'm currently the tea and tidy at Studio Sterling on Saturdays. 

Although I started my journey here wanting to learn lash extensions, I have now fallen in love with being on the floor with the girls doing hair. 

I can be shy and avoid the phones at all costs, but I love learning to wash and style. 

I can't wait till the school holidays to get more hands-on and learn more.

Next year, I'm hoping to start my school-based apprenticeship; maybe then I'll start picking up the phones 😂

 Hi, I'm Darlene, the Receptionist/ Social media creator at Studio Sterling. From makeup to tooth gems, I have always loved all things beauty. When I'm not at the salon, I am either at the beach, dancing or having a self-care day. 🥰

Coming from a zookeeping background this role is definitely a change but I'm looking forward to coming home from a full days work without Dingo fur and smelling like Koalas!😅

Hi my name is Amalia. I do a little bit of everything here at studio sterling. I am currently doing my hairdressing apprenticeship which I am absolutely loving but I am also fully qualified in nails, lashes including lash extensions, brows, spray tans, and makeup. I have always loved everything related to beauty and started my first course when I was 15, now I am 18 with a whole career ahead of me. I’m especially obsessed with lash lifts and brow combos… there’s just something about giving that effortless, put-together, “I woke up like this” energy that I love creating for my clients. I’m constantly learning, leveling up, and perfecting my skills so you’re always getting my best.

 Hi I’m Niamh, (pronounced Neev), a qualified lash technician and beauty therapist, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Studio Sterling family!  I’ve always had a passion for the beauty industry and love helping women feel confident, empowered, and beautiful. Seeing my clients leave feeling their best is the most rewarding part of what I do I offer a range of beauty services, including lash treatments, brow waxing, brow tinting, brow laminations, and facial waxing. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can relax, feel comfortable, and leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.  When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my dog or doing a little shopping.  I can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve your beauty goals. I look forward to welcoming you into the salon! ♡
